We have compiled some helpful information on how to get to and from Martha's Vineyard, regardless of your home origin.
Ferry from Cape Cod
Whether traveling in from New England or out of state, the most popular way to get to the island is by ferry out of Woods Hole, MA on Cape Cod. Ferries run on a regular schedule and arrive in ports at Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. We recommend making reservations well in advance, especially if you are planning to bring a car on the ferry.

Please note that having a car on the island is not necessary though could be helpful depending on your group size. There is a robust network of rideshare services through Lyft, Uber, and private taxis to get around the island. If you do want a car while on the island there are rental options available in Vineyard Haven.
